We're Recruiting: Helpline Volunteers
Would you like to be part of an innovative, friendly & dynamic team committed to making a difference?
Our helpline volunteers are there to provide support, advice, signposting to victims/survivors and are often the first point of contact they make with our service to gain help. This invaluable role not only makes a huge difference to our clients but is hugely rewarding and will provide you lots of opportunities to develop skills. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and levels of experience.
We will be running a training programme for flexible and motivated volunteers who share our values & passion and want to help us deliver the very best in Domestic & Sexual Abuse prevention and response services.
Training will take place on Wednesdays from 4pm till 7.30pm on the following dates:
6th February 2019
13th February 2019
20th February 2019
27th February 2019
6th March 2019
Please note that this training is for helpline volunteers only. If you are looking for a counselling placement we will be holding training for this in late Spring 2019.
We are holding a recruitment evening on Wednesday 16th January 2019 from 4pm - 6pm and to attend this we will need to have received your completed application by Friday 11th January 2019.
