for Yellow Door
Let's work together to support survivors and prevent abuse
Why support Yellow Door?
It's estimated that at least 1 in 5 of us will be impacted by abuse or interpersonal violence at some point in our lives, and we know the impacts can be devastating - on survivors, on families and on the wider community.
By supporting Yellow Door, your generosity will positively impact the lives of survivors and those at risk of abuse across Hampshire. As a registered charity, we rely on donors and fundraisers to be able to continue to offer our services and ensure that the right support remains accessible to those who need it.
Ways to donate:
There are now more ways than ever to donate to us. If you would like more information about ways to donate, or need support doing so, please get in touch.
We are able to accept online donations through Virgin Money Giving and also directly through our Facebook page where you are able to share and tell others about your donation if you choose. Both these have Gift Aid functions - so please be sure to add Gift Aid if you are eligible.
Cheques can be made payable to Yellow Door, and can be sent our hand delivered to our address. If you are eligible to add Gift Aid to your donation, please remember to complete and include a Gift Aid form with your cheque (documents are downloadable on this page).
Weekly, monthly, or even yearly donations in the form of standing orders are incredibly helpful to us - allowing us to forecast ahead and plan our services. If you are interested in setting up a standing order to Yellow Door, please see the relevant documents downloadable from this page.
Through your Will
Plan for the future and consider gifting to Yellow Door through your Will.
will pay for art supplies to help children receiving therapy to express themselves
will pay for us to distribute leaflets across the community - so people know where to go for help
will pay for an ISVA to accompany a survivor to court
* All donations will be allocated to unrestricted organisation funds unless stated otherwise
Ways to fundraise:
Fundraising for charity can be fun, engaging and incredibly rewarding. Not only do you get to do it knowing that you're making a difference to a cause you're passionate about, but it can also be a great way to get involved in the community and meet new people.
The limits to fundraise are as wide as your imagination! Whether you're athletic, artistic, a music-lover, a baker or a general social butterfly - there's something out there for everyone.
Here's just a few of the ideas we've come up with (but be sure to download our Fundraising Pack on the right of this page for more inspiration!)
Host a Charity Auction
Run a Craft Fair
Run a Marathon
Host a Bake Sale
Host a Charity Gig
Run a Charity Art Exhibit
If you're planning a fundraiser, we'd love to be there to make sure you have all you need to make the best and biggest impact. Please contact us and let our fundraising team support you along the way.
Please note, whilst we are incredibly grateful to service users wishing to fundraise on our behalf, we generally suggest that individuals wait until around 6 months after they have engaged with our services before doing so. Please feel free to talk this through with us.
